Description of Duties / Responsibilities:
- Electrical distribution system design for overhead and underground systems
- Perform field engineering, staking, and inspection
- Assist in electrical distribution system operations and management
- Preparation of system planning studies
- Preparation of special engineering studies such as motor start, protective relaying and sectionalizing studies.
- Project management
- Implementation/use of various software programs
- Interface with clients
- Some travel required

Position Qualifications:
- BS in electrical engineering or related field
- Five years progressive experience in distribution engineering, preferably addressing projects for rural electric cooperatives
- EIT, PE or a commitment to obtaining a PE
