Description of Duties / Responsibilities:
Mechanical engineer will be responsible for HVAC and plumbing system design on various project types. Design responsibilities will include, at a minimum, the following:
- HVAC Load Calculations
- Energy Analysis
- Equipment Selection
- Life Cycle Cost Analysis
- Ductwork design
- Hydronic system design
- Controls system design
- Plumbing design

Position Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering or related field required
- P.E. Registration required
- Minimum 5 years experience
- Willing to travel to project sites as required
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills required
- Ability to work as part of a multi-discipline project team ensuring that respective discipline work is accomplished according to schedule
- Computer literacy including Word, Excel and industry related design programs (Carrier Hourly Analysis Program, Trane Trace, etc)
