Guernsey Adds Two New Employees
09.17.2004
OKLAHOMA CITY - Adding two employees helps C. H. Guernsey & Company continue its growth. Joining the Architecture department is David Hobza and Chip Parks.
David Hobza, as a senior electrical engineer, is responsible for electrical systems design and review. He is also a Guernsey project manager. Hobza achieved an electrical engineering degree from Texas Tech University and is a licensed engineer.
Hobza enjoys working for Guernsey because of its stability.
“The best part of Guernsey is working for a larger, more established firm with deep history,” said Hobza. “This allows me to focus on my electrical engineering skills.”
Chip Parks returns to primarily design electrical systems as an electrical engineer-in-training. Parks is an Oklahoma State University electrical engineering graduate.
Parks’ decision to return was based on his experience in Guernsey’s internship program. “I liked working at Guernsey as an intern in 2000,” said Parks. “The internship allowed me to explore my chosen profession and obtain real-world experience.”
Guernsey encourages a balance of commitment and time for the family, work and the community. It strives to create economic, professional and emotional equity for its staff, as well as an environment embracing change and innovation. Guernsey endeavors to make each employee successful.
According to Guernsey’s Chief Executive Officer and President, Carl N. Stover, since 1991 Guernsey experienced a 148 percent revenue growth, which is attributed to the company’s diversity and commitment to its clients.
