Guernsey Announces Promotions

OKLAHOMA CITY – C. H. Guernsey & Company (Guernsey) announced today the promotion of two architects. Kent Hanebaum has been named director of the firm’s Architecture and Engineering Services. David Oman will now serve as manager of Guernsey’s Architecture Department.

Mr. Hanebaum is stepping into the role formerly held by the company’s CEO, Pat Carroll. He will assume a leadership and business development role for the firm’s architectural and engineering activities. Hanebaum, a registered architect, is a graduate of Oklahoma State University where he earned his Bachelors of Architecture in 1982.

David Oman

Mr. Oman assumes the position vacated by Hanebaum as manager of the Architecture Department. He will oversee the design and business activities associated with Guernsey’s architectural staff. Oman, a registered architect, is a graduate of Northeastern State University where he earned his Bachelors in Design & Engineering Technology in 1990.
Hanebaum has been instrumental in Guernsey earning five design awards over the past five years for Department of Defense physical fitness facilities. Oman is currently serving as Project Manager on the firm’s $79 million design/build project at the Naval Air Station Pensacola, Fla.
