Guernsey Announces Three New Staff

OKLAHOMA CITY – C. H. Guernsey & Company recently added three new members to its staff. Ross Ostenberg, PE in Chemical and Environmental Engineering, Shane Donalson, EI in Mechanical Engineering and Chanda Finley, EI in Chemical and Environmental Engineering.

Ostenberg is a Chemical engineer with 17 years experience working for Conoco, Inc. and five years as owner and President of Columbia Laboratories in Salina, Kansas. Ostenberg worked as a process engineer and supervisor in the Process Engineering Department in Conoco and later was Environmental Director of Conoco’s Mid Continent Business Unit. He also served as the leader of Conoco’s Downstream Environmental Leadership Team. During the course of his career he has been responsible for the design of refinery processing equipment and a wide variety of environmental control facilities located in refineries, chemical plants and transportation facilities. Ostenberg is joining Guernsey to lead the firm’s growing Petroleum and Petrochemical Environmental services. Since joining Guernsey, he has worked on a variety of environmental and water resource optimization projects for ConocoPhillips and helped Guernsey engineers develop an Environmental Strategic Master Plan for PetroChina.

Donalson received his Bachelor’s of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Oklahoma. He previously worked for Allen Consulting, Inc. in Norman, Oklahoma as a Mechanical Drafter and Designer. He will be working on federal and Department of Defense design projects.

Finley received her Bachelor’s of Science degree in Chemical Engineering and her Master’s in Environmental Engineering from Oklahoma State University. Finley will be working on petroleum and petrochemical related projects.
