Project Details Project Images

This project consisted of the design of the intersection widening, sidewalks, drainage improvements, a railroad crossing at grade through the middle of the intersection, and traffic signals interconnected with the warning signals for the railroad crossing. The project also involved a public hearing with presentations and coordination with the City of Oklahoma City, the Oklahoma Department of Transportation, and the BNSF Railway. Due to the extensive amount of construction on this project, a very detailed detour and phasing plan was developed. Preliminary studies and a final report were provided to assist in the determination of the total scope of the project. A preliminary cost estimate for the various pavement designs was a portion of the report and study.
