Tri-County Electric Cooperative recently acquired the assets and approximately 11,000 customers of Xcel Energy in the Panhandle of Oklahoma and Southwest Kansas. GUERNSEY provided the initial analysis indicating the benefit of the acquisition, the wholesale power supply contract development and negotiation with Xcel Energy for the acquired customers and development of the retail rates for the acquired customers. GUERNSEY continues to work with Tri-County Electric Cooperative to ensure a smooth transition.
