In July of 2009 C.H. Guernsey and Company was tasked with the development and verification of Unit Hydrographs for 15 subbasins of the Wheeler Reservoir Drainage Area on the Tennesee River and the development of the associated Geographical Information System. This project required the direct verification of gaged subbasins and indirect verification of ungaged subbasins that involved dynamic routing and customized TVA software. Project Task included an in-depth review of historical stream flow and rainfall records, flow routing, Autoregressive Moving Average models, processing of data with customized TVA softwares and reverse reservoir routing. This project was completed in support of TVA Nuclear Generation Expansions at the Bellefonte Site.
