C. H. Guernsey & Company was tasked with reviewing the proposed installation of two new low-flow hydropower generating turbines to be located at the Falcon and Amistad Dams respectively. GUERNSEY performed detailed historical flow analysis and determined a best fit unit for both locations. The project required analysis of units that could be located on either the United States or Mexican side of each project. This carried with it unique challenges requiring joint efforts from both countries working through established water management and power generation treaties.
